1990 Catalina 42 located in San Diego. 2 aft staterooms and a pullman berth forward sleeps 6. Yanmar 44 engine with 2000 hours and engine running well. Recently replaced fuel tank and all new fuel system and fuel filters. Has an older Raymarine 3000 autohelm that controls an autohelm motor on the steering wheel helm. Boat has great inverter system powered by four 1 year old deep cycle batteries to power microwave, coffee maker and A/C. Boat holds 100 gallons of fresh water and interior lights have been upgraded to LED so between the inverter system and fresh water you can go 3 days in Catalina before having to fire up the engine. Ice box refrigerator does not work but compressor is in aft transom locker. We chose never to use it because of the power required and opted for ice in the 4 inch thick ice box which kept things cold for days. I'm 6'5" and I can stand up fully inside the cabin and forward head and I fit in the forward berth bed. Boat has a shower in the swim step area to get that fresh rinse and hot water that automatically circulates from the engine so when you arrive at your destination and take a plunge you can have a warm rinse after. Stack pack was repaired in 2024 and works well for each dropping of the mainsail with zippered cover. Roller furling works on 135 genoa. This boat is ready to go and we have loved her for the past 5 years but I came up for a slip at my yacht club and have to downsize to get in.
