Description
Trident Challenger 35 – “Levelis Lady” (1990)
Exceptionally well-maintained vessel, with only two owners since its launch and VAT paid in the European Union. A solid and seaworthy boat from an English shipyard, ideal for coastal or long-distance cruising. Ready to sail, with new engine installed in 2024 and a complete set of navigation and comfort equipment.
Overall length 10.63 m, beam 3.13 m, draft 1.50 m. Built in fiberglass (GRP) with a long keel and a stern cockpit. Designed by Angus Primrose and Bill Dixon and built by Trident Marine, England.
Vetus M3.29 diesel engine of 27 HP, new from March 2024, with only 20 hours of use. TMC 40P 2:1 reduction gearbox. Closed circuit cooling, new 3-blade bronze propeller 13”x9” RH (August 2024), 80 L (main) and 25 L (day auxiliary) diesel tanks. Starting system and new Vetus batteries from March 2023.
Bermudian cutter rig with a roller furler on the mast for the mainsail (in-mast furling) and Furlex furlers for the jib and staysail. Stainless steel standing rigging (renewed in 2010) and running rigging replaced in 2020 and 2024. Six sails in total: mainsail, jib, and staysail in use, plus spare sails stored on board. Approximate sail area 42 m².
Non-slip deck with stainless steel guardrails and double side access. Bimini and anti-rolling cover with windows renewed in 2020. Side dodgers with the boat's name, hatch covers, and staysail cover. Electric anchor windlass Lofrans with foot switches and two main CQR anchors of 35 lb with 60 m of calibrated chain. Draining anchor well. Fixed swim ladder at the stern and folding cockpit table.
Complete Raymarine and Furuno instrumentation: Furuno GP32 GPS, SPX-5 autopilot with P70 control (new 2024), NASA Easy Log speed log, NASA Clipper depth sounder (2024), Raymarine i60 wind instruments with transducer at the top of the mast, Horizon 135 steering compass, and Kemp Visiball reflector. Icom IC-506GE VHF with external speaker and horn installation on the mast for automatic fog signals.
Electrical equipment with 12 V and 240 V network via ground connection. Spectra solar panels (2 units) connected to the battery bank. Stirling charger and LED lighting system in the interior and navigation.
Interior in good quality teak and upholstery in good condition. Central salon with folding table and two sofa beds. Bow cabin with convertible double bed and ample storage space under the seats. L-shaped kitchen with gas stove with oven and grill, double sink, Shurflo pressure pump, hot and cold water, and chest-type refrigerator (cooling unit to be checked). Bathroom with Jabsco marine toilet (2018), sink, and shower with drain to the bilge.
Freshwater system with main 80 L stainless steel tank, 20 L water heater with 240 V electric resistance (hot water from engine pending review) and 5 L accumulator. Pressure and washing system on deck, with new hoses and non-return valves.
Deep bilge under the engine with Rule-Mate electric pump (2023) and Whale Gusher manual pump (2020). Portable electric heater of 240 V for use in port.
Safety and maneuvering equipment: two life rings with lights, lifelines, automatic and portable fire extinguishers (checked 2019–2020), fire blankets, flares, and EPIRB at the stern. No lifeboat available.
