FOR SALE - 1991 Swan 46 Mk2
Sadly it looks like we might sell our 1991 Swan 46 Mk2 designed by German Frers. Imported to the US and is USCG registered.
Hull number 46/093.

We have done the following works and upgrades in our ownership.
Rod rigging fully replaced, supplied by Sailing Services in Miami and fitted in Colombia (2023/4). Approximately $25,000 cost.
Hull sanded right back to epoxy and all areas with osmosis treated. 2 coats of epoxy primer and 3 coats of antifoul (2022/3)
Watt & Sea hydro-generator (2022)
Anchor locker refurbished and windlass fully rebuilt and serviced (2022)
New Doyle sail bag (2023)
New Bimini and frame (2022)
Engine top end rebuild, new valves and springs, new timing belt and pulleys, injectors cleaned, injector pump rebuilt and serviced, crankshaft oil seal replace, all fuel hoses replaced, heat exchanger removed and cleaned (2024).
Over the last 3 years we have cruised the boat from St Lucia to Panama via Martinique, Bonaire, Curacao, Colombia and Panama. Unfortunately a new baby is not conducive to continued ownership and I don’t want our boat to be one of those that gathers dust in a marina somewhere.
The boat is currently lying in Panama Shelter Bay Marina, I have a caretaker checking on her once a week, running the engine etc., a dehumidifier and she is cleaned in and out once a month.
We are asking US$155,000 or equivalent in £/€. Mototi is UK owned and registered on the SSR.
