Grand Soleil 45

The 1992 Grand Soleil 45, often referred to as the Grand Soleil 45 German Frers, is a classic example of Italian performance cruising yachts from Cantiere del Pardo. Designed by the renowned naval architect German Frers, this model strongly emphasizes sailing prowess while still providing a comfortable and well-appointed interior for cruising.

The key defining characteristic of the 1992 Grand Soleil 45 is its German Frers design. Frers is celebrated for creating yachts that are both aesthetically pleasing and exceptionally fast. The 45 was conceived as a true performance cruiser, aiming to offer exhilarating sailing performance for racing while maintaining the comfort and amenities desired for family cruising. Some owners even affectionately refer to them as "Spaghetti Swans" due to their similar design philosophy and quality to Nautor's Swan yachts of the era.

Built with a solid GRP (fibreglass) hull, they are known for their robust construction, contributing to their excellent seakeeping abilities and longevity.

ACAMAR III underwent an extensive (€64,000) refit in 2024 and is in exceptional condition today. Please get in contact for a brochure documenting the re-fit project.
