Engine

Yanmar 3GM30F 27 horsepower, three cylinder, freshwater-cooled diesel.  New engine mounts 2017 and exhaust hoses 2018. Campbell Sailor three-blade bronze propeller

Accommodations

ENCORE is set up with cruising accommodations for six people. She has a bright and airy interior.  Beginning at the bow is a V-berth with port and starboard lockers. The main cabin features a pull out L-shaped settee on the port side with a single settee on the starboard side. The private aft cabin has an athwartships double berth and is accessible just aft of the galley. The galley is on the port side, with the head and separate shower stall opposite, to starboard. There are 12 opening stainless steel ports, four deck hatches, and two skylights which provide both light and ventilation. The interior is finished with varnished maple, and the sole is varnished teak and holly. Hella fans, reading lights. Head is equipped with a Raritan manual toilet, walk-in shower stall, vanity storage, sink, and 40 gallon (!) holding tank. Foam for all interior cushions was replaced in 2020.  Fabric is original.

Galley

L-shaped galley includes a double basin, polished stainless steel sink on centerline, a two burner propane stove with oven and broiler, double refrigerator box with deep storage and ready-access bin. Adler Barbour Super Cold Machine. Force Ten propane stove and oven. two propane tanks. Propane sniffer and S2A control 2011. Pressure H/C water. Deep double S/S sink. Storage below and outboard. Large counter space.

Electrical

90 AMP alternator and 3 stage voltage regulator, two Group 31 12 volt  deep-cycle batteries (2025) and one Group 28 12 volt deep-cycle (2025) battery, battery selector switch, 12V/110V with breaker panel, two KC 125 solar panels (125 watts each), voltage regulator, and monitor.

Pro Nautic battery charger, Xantrex 1500 inverter, electric 12v fans in all cabins. 12v outlet at nav station. 110 volt outlets.

Electronics and Navigation

AT HELM : Raymarine Axiom Chartplotter at Binnacle. Ray ST70 depth, Ray ST70 knotmeter and log, Ray ST70 apparent wind and speed, Ray ST6002 autopilot.

AT NAV STATION; Horizon Standard VHF 2012, extended antenna 2012, ICOM 718 HF ham radio transceiver, Pioneer AM/FM/CD stereo with speakers in cabin, Weems and Plath clock, 406 mhz. EPIRB.

Hull and Deck

Dodger 2018, bimini 2011, Maxwell 1200 electric windlass, Danforth 22 anchor and rode, Delta 130’ anchor chain. Upper anchor locker with hatch and lower anchor locker.  Anchor/deck washdown. Screens for hatches and companionway. Cockpit cup holders.

Sails and Rigging

North TriRadial fully-battened mainsail (2018) with lazy jacks, low hours. Harken slide/bat cars on free-standing carbon mast. North TriRadial self-tacking jib (2018) on boom, low hours. Asymmetrical cruising spinnaker. Lewmar clutches. Harken #42 electric winch on coach Roof (2008). Harken two-speed #42 self-tailing manual winch on coachroof. All lines led aft to cockpit.

Delta 35 anchor w/chain 130’. Danforth anchor w/chain and rode. Engine location forward of galley. Three-blade Campbell Sailor Prop. PSS dripless stuffing box (2025) and cutlass bearing (2025).
