Description
“Spezi” is a quality built aluminum sailing yacht located on the hard since about 8 years in Almería, Spain. Refit unfinished and for sale "AS IS". Current german owner (ex mechanic/engineer) purchased in 1998 in Almerimar, Spain, for DM150.000 (sale contract available). Around 2016 he started an extensive refit project taking out all furniture, engine, etc. Due to health reasons he is not able to finish this project, nor to provide technical information. Nevertheless, this boat can be considered a fantastic opportunity for a technically skilled person to obtain a high-quality aluminum bluewater cruiser for an economic price. “Spezi” was made by Almaz Shipyard in St. Petersburg (Russia) between 1993 and 1995 (no documents of this shipyard available).
IMPORTANT ISSUES: Volvo Penta diesel 74Kw engine is located in Germany with pending refurbishment and transport to Spain. Has to be installed. Inside new carpentry (excellent woodwork) almost finished, as the electric installation and plumbing. All sails stored inside and found in good condition. Rigging and mast in acceptable condition but need sanding and polishing. 2 Holes under the waterline were probably made for bow- and stern thruster, although this is not confirmed. German owner invented an innovative transmission system for the engine, but no technical information is available. Refit can be finished on the same boatyard and the stay is paid until September 1, 2026 (can be renewed). German flagged. Video (made 2026) available in youtube, see link on this website.
