OMNI is a very nice and desirable Catalina 270 that has many upgrades in the last 2 years. The owner is a Master Marine Surveyor and knows what it required for a safe and functional vessel. Here is a list of a few thing that have been added:
2024
- New standing rigging
- New running rigging
- New mainsail and genoa
- New interior cushions
- New head
- Rebuilt engine - new head, injectors and injection pump
2025
- New batteries
- New VHF
She is clean and shows very well. Easy to sail. Easy to show.
Accommodations
OMNI has a standard layout of a small daysailer. A quick walk through shows the galley to port and day head to starboard of the companionway. There is aft berth below the cockpit and another berth forward in the Vee. Comfortable seating wraps around the salon with a nav station and power panel to port.
The galley is simple but does have a two burner propane stove and uses an ice chest as a cooler. The water is heated both by a 120V water heater or with the engine heat exchanger while underway.
The head is small but functional with a new Jabsco manual toilet and a shower wand in the sink.
Electrical/Electronics
120V shore power is available and to charge the house battery. There are 2 - Group 24 wet cell batteries and a small solar panel is provided to keep the batteries charged thru a Newmar charger while at anchor.
The navigation is aided with a Raymarine ST4000 autopilot and a B&G depth sounder and a handheld Garmin 276C GPS.
Deck/Cockpit
Including the standard aft pushpit seats that Catalina initiated, the cockpit is spacious and has the steering/engine controls in the central pedestal with a canvas cover when not in use.
For anchoring there is a Bruce anchor with chain/rope rode.
All required lifejackets and throwable devices are included.
