The Catalina 36 is a true marvel of space that has a large sailing area.

Thanks to its considerable width of 3.63 and smart layout, it feels larger than 36ft. Its current owners have maintained it with great care and attention, making it ready to sail for its new owners.

The cockpit is spacious and comfortable; thanks to the deeper seating, there is good back support, and the G&T seats in the stern make it very pleasant. The side decks are wide and equipped with good anti-slip surfaces and long handrails on the roof. In the bow, there is an electric anchor winch and a spacious anchor locker.

The interior is what we expect from the American yard, very solid, spacious, and well-finished with plenty of storage space and options. On the port side, we find the U-shaped galley equipped with plenty of countertop space, top-loading cooler, gimbaled stove, and double sink. On the other side is the navigation corner with a foldable seat for the navigator and a cozy dinette. This can also be folded away and function as a pilot berth.

On the port side of the salon, there is a spacious U-shaped seating area, with a table that is height-adjustable and can be transformed into a 2-person sleeping space. In the bow, we find various storage spaces and access to the (very) generous wet cell with a shower. This is also directly accessible from the double V-berth in the bow.

In the aft, we find the crosswise placed 2-person bed. This has substantial dimensions and good height at the headboard.
