Description
Own a Legend: SERENATA, a Remarkable Hunter 37.5 Performance Cruiser
Discover the perfect blend of exhilarating sailing performance and exceptional cruising comfort with the Hunter 37.5 Legend SERENATA. This is not just a sailboat; it's a ticket to adventure, offering the features and space of a much larger, more expensive yacht at a fraction of the cost and with easier handling.
Maintenance and updates from 2023 - 2025 include:
Why You'll Love SERENATA
- Speed and Performance: Thanks to her sleek hull, efficient sail plan, and powerful, fully battened mainsail (new in 2024), she sails right by many 40-footers and performs admirably in both light air and heavy winds.
- Effortless Handling: Designed for easy management, even for short-handed or single-handed crews, all lines lead aft to the cockpit, putting essential controls within reach of the helm. The furling genoa, and self-tailing winches make sail handling a breeze, so you can focus on the joy of sailing.
- Unrivaled Comfort Below Deck: Step below to a bright, open, and incredibly spacious interior. The cabin layout features a large owner's stateroom with a generous double berth, a comfortable V-berth forward currently used as a storage room, and a welcoming salon with a centerline drop-leaf table. The fully equipped L-shaped galley, complete with a deep refrigerator and a stainless steel stove/oven, makes extended stays onboard a pleasure.
- Built for Cruising and Liveability: SERENATA is designed for long-range cruising and liveability. Enjoy a large cockpit with stern rail seating, a convenient walk-through transom to the swim platform, and abundant storage throughout the vessel. Large windows and hatches provide excellent natural light and ventilation, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
- Solid and Reliable: Built with a solid fiberglass hull and a reliable Yanmar diesel engine, SERENATA is a proven coastal cruiser.

Accommodations
SERENATA offers a spacious and open interior designed for comfort and extended cruising, featuring two private cabins and sleeping accommodations for up to seven people. The interior joiner work is teak with a classic teak and holly cabin sole.
Key accommodations include:
- Main Salon: The main living area features a U-shaped dinette to port with a large table that can be lowered to convert into an additional double berth. To starboard is a bench settee and an aft-facing navigation station. Large windows provide ample natural light and ventilation.
- Aft Master Cabin: A spacious master stateroom is located aft under the cockpit, featuring a large, athwartships-oriented queen-size berth. This cabin offers a significant amount of room for a vessel of this size, with hanging lockers and shelves for storage. It can be accessed from the main salon or the head compartment.
- Forward Guest Cabin/Storage Room: A guest cabin is situated in the bow (V-berth), offering a double berth with a privacy door and port and starboard hanging lockers/storage compartments. This cabin is currently converted into a storage area.
- Head: The single head compartment is to starboard of the companionway and is notably spacious for a boat of this size. It features a vanity with a sink, a Jabsco manual toilet, and a separate, dedicated shower area with a curtain and a seat. It has dual-access doors from the main salon and the aft cabin.
