Description
A wonderful family cruiser. Comfortable, fast and easily handled! This is one of the last boats Hinterhoeller built and features the 324 layout; a double berth cabin forward, a large salon with galley and head and a double quarterberth. It is equipped with a carbon fibre mast and wishbone and features a high performance keel and rudder and computer designed laminate schedule. Lighter and stiffer with an increased sail plan for excellent lighter air performance. Well equipped with cruising gear and ready for Pacific Northwest cruising!

Accommodations
"TIMARU NUI" has a comfortable cruising interior that can sleep up to 6 people; 2 in the forward stateroom, 2 on the starboard side convertible settee and 2 in port quarterberth.
The head is forward to port and features marine head, sink and vanity. The main salon has a large dinette to starboard with loveseat opposite. The galley is aft to starboard and includes stainless steel sinks with pressure hot/cold water, 2 burner Force Ten propane stove with oven, icebox with Sea Frost refrigeration system and drawers and lockers for cutlery, dish and pantry storage.
To port at the aft end of the cabin is a double quarterberth. The end of the berth serves as the seat for the navigation station. The 3 step companionway gives access to the cockpit with plenty of secure and comfortable seating. All sail handling can be done from the cockpit but the perimeter lifelines and wide side decks make for easy line handling or anchoring.

Additional
The 324 is easily sailed and performs well,....a combination of the long waterline length and generous sailplan. The carbon fibre mast and boom account for less weight aloft and thus the draft has been reduced slightly and the keel and rudder foils optimized in shape for performance. The electric halyard winch makes raising the sail a cinch! The dodger and deep cockpit keep the crew comfortable and protected. There is lots of space for the crew to eat, sleep and lounge. Overall a wonderful cruising boat for the Pacific Northwest!
