Accommodations

The accommodation provides two entirely private staterooms, each with a generous sized bathroom. The forward double berth is 1.9m x 1.4m, has a small settee, wardrobe, shelves and lockers, with the bathroom full forward and an electric toilet.

The owners cabin aft has the desirable island bed, 2.0m x1.5m and the bathroom runs forward on the starboard side with a manual Jabsco toilet. Both bathrooms were one piece molded at the factory, good form and function.

Another nice feature in the saloon is the raised table and U-shape settee offering such panoramic views. The linear longitudinal galley running down the port side works extremely well and has abundant storage space. The side windows running along port and starboard of the saloon have been refitted with bigger and more modern window panels giving more light and views.

For entertainment there is a new bluetooth radio installed with two interior ADAMS speakers plus a WEST MARINE speaker in each cabin.

Galley

Sensible linear design (longitudinal galley) with double stainless steel sinks, chopping board over one sink, pressurized water and foot pumped salt water. Abundant storage including three sliding vegetable baskets. A top loading ISOTHERM TP 2501 12 volt 170 liter fridge (2013). AGOR Microwave oven 12 V DC (1999). Two burner ENO gas stove and oven (2017).

Batteries & Electrics

Nakaiy underwent a complete electrical refit in 2024, transforming her into a fully modern, off-grid capable cruising yacht with reliable and efficient power management.

The yacht's AC system is 240VAC, shore power inlet with full distribution system and cabin outlets. Victron 3000W inverter/charger (2024) with integrated thermostat and cooling fan, fully rewired AC system (2024), new AC electrical panel and switchboard (2024).

The yacht's DC system is 12VDC. System fully upgraded and rewired (2024), new DC electrical panel and switchboard (2024), all new wiring, fuses, lighting, USB charging sockets, cabin fans, and electrical accessories (2024), new fuel gauge and both water tank gauges replaced (2025). • House bank: 4 × 100Ah lithium batteries installed in a dedicated battery box with thermostat and cooling fan (2024)

Additional charging by Canadian Solar Hiku6 Mono PERC panels totaling approximately 920–960W (2025),  SRNE MC Series MPPT solar charge controller (2024), new Balmar high-output alternator for efficient lithium battery charging (2024), Victron 3000W inverter/charger providing shore power charging and onboard AC supply (2024), fully integrated and regulated charging system for optimal battery performance and longevity.
