Dufour Atoll 37

The Atoll 37 is a cruising sailboat recognized for its robustness, comfort, and ability to navigate safely over long distances. Built by the Kirie shipyard, this 1999 model offers an excellent compromise between interior volume, reassuring marine behavior, and equipment suitable for long-distance cruising. With its 11.40 meters in length and stable hull, it is perfectly sized for offshore sailing or extended living aboard.

One of its major assets lies in its central cockpit configuration with two steering wheels, providing excellent visibility, increased protection while sailing, and smooth circulation on board. The boat is equipped with an autopilot and a 24 V electric bow thruster installed in 2020, significantly facilitating maneuvers in port. The rudder bearing was replaced in July 2024, ensuring healthy and reliable steering.

The rigging was fully modernized in 2020 with a roller mast and a roller genoa, making maneuvers simple and secure, even with a reduced crew. This equipment is perfectly suited for a long-duration sailing program.

The interior is spacious and functional, with three cabins offering true comfort for the crew. The central saloon is bright and welcoming, ideal for meals and relaxation. The kitchen is well-equipped with a gimbaled stove/oven, a large 12 V refrigerator of 130 liters, and a sink supplied with hot and cold water. The sailboat has two complete bathrooms, each equipped with a shower, a toilet, a sink, and its own black water tank, a real asset for life on board.

Autonomy is a strong point of this unit. It is ensured by a substantial solar installation comprising four solar panels, powering both a 12 V AGM battery (2021) and a 24 V LiFePO4 battery (2024). A new 24 V portable water maker completes this setup, making the boat particularly autonomous at anchor. Hot water is produced by a 25-liter water heater operating on 220 V or via the engine heat exchanger.

The onboard electronics include a depth sounder, an anemometer, a speedometer, and an EZVIZ camera with a WiFi box and SIM card, providing additional comfort in terms of monitoring. The boat is also equipped with a 220 V to 12 V shore charger, a hot and cold deck shower, a liferaft (revision required), and an anchor with mooring.

Certified for 10 passengers in category A, this Atoll 37 is a healthy, well-equipped sailboat oriented towards long-distance cruising, ideal for a long-term travel project or comfortable living aboard.
