The Corby 38 is a sailing yacht measuring 11.65 meters in length, 3.75 meters in width, and with a draft of 2.75 meters. The ship was built in the year 2000. The hull is manufactured by Vision Yachts and the design is by Corby. The hull has a round bilge shape and is equipped with a bulb keel. The hull is constructed from epoxy combined with composite materials. The water displacement is approximately 5.77 tons and the ballast weight is around 2750 kilograms. The finishing of the hull was carried out at the yard and the interior is lined with teak. The deck and the cabin structure are also made of fiberglass and composite.

The interior consists of one cabin, including a salon, and offers a total of six sleeping places. The headroom is approximately one meter. In the forepeak, the standing height is about 1.30 meters and in the aft cabin about 1.20 meters. The windows are made of perspex and the steering is done with a tiller.

The ship has a proven racing history in both ORC and IRC fields. It has achieved good results in events such as Cowes Week, Cork Week, Scottish Series, and Kiel Week, with class victories in the Middle Sea Race and East Coast Race. The yacht has been successfully used in fully crewed and double-handed configurations.
