Construction

RCD Status: The yacht conforms with the essential safety requirements of Directive 94/25EC or RCDII (2013/53/EU as appropriate (Recreational Craft Directive) and is categorised A – “Ocean” (or Cat B – whichever is appropriate)

 

Hull, Deck & Superstructure Construction:

• Hand laminated GRP.
• Bulkheads are securely bonded to the hull and deck with reinforced tabbing. 
• External lead ballast is secured to the hull with acid proof stainless steel bolts tied into the full length grid bottom framework of the boat. 
• Deck is solid hand laid fiberglass with anti-slip on all surfaces.
• Stainless steel handrails.
• Teak guard rails atop stainless steel stanchions. 
• All control lines lead aft.

 

Keel & Rudder:

• Capillano hydraulic wheel steering with Raymarine ev-150 autopilot.
• Emergency direct to rudder stock tiller.

Machinery

Engine & Gearboxes:

• 1 x Yanmar 4JH3E 2-litre 56hp 4-cylinder diesel.
• Engine stop/start and throttle controls in pilot house and on pedestal in cockpit.

 

Maintenance & Performance:

• Engine hours – 1,800. Engine condition report available.
• 335 litres (gives approx. 500 miles range under power).

 

Propulsion & Steering:

• Three-bladed Maxprop feathering prop with ropecutter.
• Sleipner SE60 bowthruster.

• 6 x 150AH AGM in services bank, plus one 150AH AGM for engine starting.
