Description

DAWNPIPER is a classic, Dutch, top quality sailing yacht. With her Ron Holland design and exceptional build quality, DAWNPIPER will give any owner many years of spectacular, comfortable live-aboard, performance cruising anywhere in the world. 

On deck all lines are led aft to the working aft cockpit surrounded with electric winches. The forward cockpit has a hard dodger with proper windshields over the forward end and Sunbrella canvas over the aft end. Together with a large cockpit table, this cockpit provides excellent well protected lounging for off watch guests and crew.

The creature comforts below deck are second to none with 2 spacious sleeping cabins, stall showers in both heads, a wrap around dinette, proper navigation station, excellent sea galley and a walk-in engine space.

DAWNPIPER is equipped with everything one can imagine for safe, offshore passage making.


HULL

Fiberglass with balsa cored hull using the SCRIMP vacuum method of lamination.

Vinylester resin with Aramid Kevlar or Twaron on outer skin for high impact resistance.

Woven and unidirectional E-glass on stiffeners for extra strength.

Carbon fiber used in select area for extra strength.

Originally a green hull, it was white gel coated in 2017 with high quality gel coat allowing it to be buffed and waxed to a shine.

GENERAL ARRANGEMENT

FORWARD HEAD

Located in the bow with a separate stall shower. Manual head to port. White gel-coated fiberglass sink to starboard. Teak grating in shower and head floor.

FORWARD CABIN

Located immediately aft of forward head. Double pullman type bunk to port with opening port in hull above. Lockers forward and aft on port side. 1 x deep drawer under bunk. Centerline locker aft with bedside shelf. Ample set of drawers to starboard. 2 x large hanging lockers starboard side forward and aft.

MAIN SALOON

Located immediately aft of the forward cabin. “J” shaped settee surrounds a dining table to port. Opening port in hull port side. Lockers outboard forward and aft port side. Glasses locker aft port side with glass door. Access door aft to port to stand up engine space.

NAVIGATION STATION

Located opposite the dinette and on the starboard. Forward facing. Opening port in hull outboard. Lifting desktop. Surrounded with navigation and communication electronics.  Locker forward and under desk. Large lockers and drawer space aft of navigation station. Tool storage under locking nav seat with easy access. 

GALLEY

Located in the walkway to the aft cabin on the starboard side. Outboard is a top and front load, water cooled, Isotherm fridge and freezer. 4 x burner stove with oven. Corian counter tops. Double stainless steel sinks. Ample drawer and locker space above and below. Inboard is the electrical panel and microwave oven. Additional access to the engine.

AFT CABIN

Located aft and accessed via a passageway through the galley on the starboard side. Centerline double bed. Ample storage including two large hanging locker. Opening ports in the hull for increased lighting and ventilation. Storage above and below seats to port and starboard. Storage under berth for emergency tiller and spares.

AFT HEAD

Located on the port side and forward of the aft cabin. Manual flush head. Stall shower with sump and sump pump. Teak grating in the shower and head areas. White gel-coated sink outboard and shower stall forward. Lockers and mirrors.
