Accommodations
Upon entering the cabin on the Hunter 386, the first thing you'll notice is the abundant natural light that streams in from the large fixed windows as well as the many overhead hatches which also provide a tremendous amount of fresh air. The wide beam and 6'6" head room make the space below feel much larger than a 38' boat. The salon has a U-shaped settee (which can be converted to an additional berth if needed), large dining table and straight settee to port. The galley is tucked neatly to starboard, and the head is to port. Forward is a modest V-berth with a private wash area, and a large cabin aft with direct access to the head. The nav station to port is a great work area, with access to the breaker panels to the ships electrical systems.
