Description

Owned and cruised in the Pacific Northwest Karen Ann is one of the last renowned Dana's built by Pacific Seacraft.

The Dana 24 is a well designed and seaworthy pocket cruiser, conceived for cruising and designed for performance. She is built to standards of excellence that set Pacific Seacraft yachts apart. Quality is appreciated in every detail: the master crafted fitted teak joinery to heavy duty bronze fittings. Bill Crealock is well-known for cruising boats with exceptional performance, and Dana is the culmination of a compact design to safely carry adventurers to far places.

She sports a sophisticated hull design, high ballast ratio and efficient sail plan providing stability and power for windward performance not commonly found in other pocket cruisers. Her beautiful traditional hull provides an extraordinarily spacious and functional interior for her size, one that is innovative and inviting. Her cabin offers 6-foot 1-inch headroom, a fully enclosed head, honeymoon berth and congenial main salon are but a few of her highlights. Karen Ann’s long list of standard features includes two-cylinder diesel power, winches, sails and full galley.

Karen Ann is maintained in pristine condition and has been meticulously maintained. The design shows  her beautiful lines and offers features for voyage making usually found on larger yachts. Her design brings a well balanced rig with high ballast ratio to provide speed, stability, and comfortable cruising performance. The great underbody design and robust construction, this vessel is capable of crossing oceans or sounds in comfort and class.
