Construction

RCD Status: The yacht conforms with the essential safety requirements of Directive 94/25EC or RCDII (2013/53/EU as appropriate (Recreational Craft Directive) and is categorised A – “Ocean” (or Cat B – whichever is appropriate)

 

Hull, Deck & Superstructure Construction:

• GRP hull.
• Teak laid decks.
• Old antifouling removed (2021). Applied 5 coats of epoxy primer, followed by 3 coats of antifouling paint.
• Hull polish March 2025.
• New vinyl stripes.
• Watertight bulkhead.

 

Keel & Rudder:

• Bolted lead fine keel on GRP stub with deep sump.
• Balanced fin rudder on stainless steel shaft.

Machinery

Engine & Gearboxes:

• Volvo Penta engine D2-55, 55hp.
• New Heat exchanger, rear crank shaft seal, saildrive diaphragm (June 2020).
• Lewmar Ocean Concept 900w electric windlass new motor & gearbox (2011).

 

Maintenance & Performance:

• Engine hours – approx 2,817 @ September 2025.
• Engine last serviced: Nov 2024. Next service due Nov 2025.
• Cruising speed – approx 7 knots @ 2200 rpm.
• Maximum speed – approx 9 knots.
• 3 Lph fuel consumption at cruising speed.

• Saloon to starboard is the starboard forward facing Nav. Station, stowage forward of this cupboards and chart drawer.
• Aft of the Nav. Station is an ample L-shaped galley.
• Aft of saloon seating is a large WC and shower compartment in moulded GRP with satin mahogany trim.
• Large double cabins to both port and starboard both with ample hanging stowage.
