Description
This is a superb example of the Beneteau Oceanis Clipper 323, and from the moment you step aboard it’s clear that she is a well loved and appealing yacht. Built with in mast furling and deep fin keel, this is a yacht that is easily sailed with a minimal crew, whilst offering superior upwind performance.
This Oceanis 323 benefits from a number of recent upgrades, including new sails in 2022, new standing rigging in 2022, a new sprayhood and dodgers in 2022, and a Raymarine Axiom 7 chartplotter with AIS transceiver fitted in 2023.
Beyond these updates, it is evident that she has been carefully owned throughout her life. The interior joinery and soft furnishings are in excellent cosmetic condition.
The Beneteau Oceanis 323 is a comfortable, sure-footed cruiser with accommodation that belies her compact dimensions. Generous headroom, a large aft cabin and spacious heads make her eminently suitable for family holidays afloat.
Kimara is a lovely yacht.

Owner's Comments
Owning Kimara has been the most rewarding step in our sailing journey since we moved from dinghy sailing to owning our first boat in 2021. We wanted something that was safe, enjoyable to sail, and comfortable to live aboard as we built experience and sailed further afield. She has taken us through four years of multi-week cruises, down the south west coast of the UK to the Scillies, and channel crossings to the Channel Islands and Brittany, including multiple night passages.
Kimara sails capably with a deep fin keel and rudder, giving her responsive handling and strong manoeuvrability in harbours. Her new furling mainsail and genoa, with all lines led aft, make her easy for solo or short-handed crews. We have enjoyed memorable nights at anchor, from Worbarrow Bay to the river at Treguier, thanks to her large Manson anchor and 50m of chain.
As I am 6'4'', interior space and headroom were a priority. She is a very comfortable boat for a couple, offering great space and facilities for a 10m size, including a large rear berth and a spacious head. We've enjoyed our time inside as much as our time on deck.
We purchased her due to the excellent condition maintained by Doug, the previous owner. We have since made annual investments in rigging, electronics, and sails to keep her in top condition, alongside annual servicing by Pinnacle Marine.
Now, as we prepare to sail even further afield for extended passages, we are ready to take a step up in size, and say a sad farewell to Kimara.
