Straightforward in layout, the overall feel of the  interior is one of useable comfort. The designer interior is beautiful, rich, plantation grown Costa Rican teak hardwood. There seems to be an unending supply of lockers and cabinets, all securely latched and accessible. Twelve opening ports plus a large forward hatch and extra-large main hatch all with screens, combined with fans throughout ensure Elation stays cool through the hot months with air conditioning needed only when docked where there is minimal air flow. There is 6’5” headroom throughout the cabin. The aft stateroom has an oversize double bed, hanging locker, multiple shelves and drawers with additional storage under the berth. The forward statement has a large V-berth with ample storage, drawers and large storage space under the berth with a hanging locker just outside the door. The head features a separate shower stall, teak medicine closet and Raritan head. Drawers and lockers are abundant in the forward cabin and passageway. The main salon features a settee to starboard, lockers with louvered doors line the hull sides, A simple slide out extension coverts the dinette to a comfortable double. The navigation table is compact. Instruments surround the navigation station. The electrical panels are extensive; well labeled, user friendly, complete and expertly finished. The neighboring countertop in the galley has a large horizontal surface for spreading charts flat over the dry storage locker. The galley is complete, with plenty of space for food and dishes. The deep refrigerator is well insulated, with new Cool Blue compresser. The countertops in the galley and head are Corian.
