The Shoalsailer 35 is equipped with an optional High-Speed Package, featuring a powerful 120-hp engine, a hydraulically operated trim tab beneath the swim platform, and a bow thruster, allowing it to achieve speeds of 8-10 knots under power. Designed to safely endure groundings, this boat is specifically intended to be beached, enhancing its versatility. One of its standout features is the expansive cockpit, with a maximum beam of 12' 9" positioned well aft, creating a spacious area typically found on much larger sailboats. This generous cockpit also includes twin steering stations, a swim platform and dinghy davits.
