Description

This stunning yacht is the perfect combination of classic lines and modern build. She is constructed with the finest hard wood timbers within a GRP and epoxy sheath resulting in copnsiderable strength by design and manufacture.  Deck GRP and cold moulded.  She represents the perfect mix of a traditional look and feel but with a 2006 launch year. Having modern sail handling systems and diesel inboard engine.  Accommodation too is warm but generous with a good beam affording a light and airy cabin.

This charming cutter rigged cruising yacht was built for her current owner by Tony Turner and shipped from Zimbabwe for fit out at Medusa Marine, Suffolk. Launched in 2006, she offers 6 berths and a comfortable light saloon.

Sails include a self-tacking staysail and large overlapping genoa.  The main runs on Frederikson cars and is fully battened for ease of handling and good sail shape. Her double ended design and modern diesel engine makes her an easy boat to berth and move around the marina.

The Turner 37 was designed in the "Colin Archer" style using a William Garden design. She has similarities to an Island Packet, Bowman or Rival 36. However, whereas those will date back to the 1970's in most cases, this beautiful Tuner 37 is a post millennium build. She is CE Registered and is Category 'A' rated.

“Jesamine” was built for her current owner's family by Tony Turner, a well-known boat builder with over 200 boats built and a racing enthusiast reflected in the way she moves in the waterThe yacht offers up to 6 berths in a conventional layout, the owner reports having catered for 11 in her comfortable full beam saloon.

The owner spent his early years in Zimbabwe before moving to the UK. When the time came to move up from his existing 26-footer he turned to Tony Turner in Zimbabwe to build an offshore cruising yacht that would be easily handled with a small crew. The owner has a photographic history of the build which should be seen.

Selling due to lack of time to sail as a result of other commitments, the owner is keen for another yachtsman to enjoy this quite special yacht.
