The Comet 41S was designed by Studio Vallicelli & C. and is a Comar cruiser-racer that follows the lines and concepts of the larger 45S and 51S, but at the same time stands out as a boat with very innovative content, especially in terms of construction. The hull has elegant and fast lines even if not extreme for the IMS, with rounded central sections and accentuated maximum beam. The decision not to stop at 40 feet has made it possible to resolve the compromise between form and habitability well. The Comet 41 S offers exhilarating performance with surprising habitability for the category: multiple layouts, all with a large cockpit, sail lower, flush skylights and large lockers both internally and externally.
The 41 S has the wonderfully spontaneous and performance-oriented shapes we have come to expect from the Comar Sport series: thin bow sections and vertical overhangs, designed to develop the waterline to the maximum and make the hull soft on the waves.
While never interfering with the hull's finely crafted proportions, the deckhouse design offers excellent interior livability, even allowing for a choice of solutions of up to three cabins and two bathrooms. The Comet 41 S, very snappy, is surprisingly responsive and docile even on the wheel, thanks to the good balance of the hull and the efficiency of the rudder.
