Description
The 2007 model Bavaria 39 Cruiser – SY Abray stands out with its 3-cabin, 2-head layout and single helm configuration. The owner has upgraded and extended the teak table in the cockpit.
The boat’s furnishings and floorboards are in excellent condition, and the wooden surfaces in the saloon and cabins look almost like showroom quality. There is a U-shaped seating area in the aft and an I-shaped galley on the port side (with a two-burner stove); the galley is highly functional and well-maintained.
The forward cabin features a private head and shower, while the aft cabins are designed to be spacious and comfortable. The second head adjacent to the saloon is ideal for everyday use.
SY Abray was purchased in 2021 by its current owner, and the first owner was a British citizen. The boat was used by its previous owner for 6 months each year between 2007 and 2021, and was taken out of the water during the winter months. The yacht has been cruising in the Southern Aegean since 2007. The Coppercoat antifouling on the hull has been renewed over the years by the owner and continues to be maintained.
In 2021, SY Abray was fitted with a new Volvo Penta D1-30 engine, which currently has only 440 hours. The SD membrane of the sail drive system was also renewed in 2021. No damages, groundings, or tornado issues have been reported.
The yacht’s standing rigging and sails are original and are subject to routine maintenance and physical inspection by the owner. The tension of the standing rigging is in excellent condition, and the keel bolts and nuts are also in very good condition. In addition to the standard equipment, the yacht is fitted with a Webasto diesel heater and two 700-watt solar panels mounted on a pushpit-attached arch, which provides a permanent solution to SY Abray’s energy needs and enhances the overall comfort of the yacht.
SY Abray offers a spacious and comfortable living area on board while also providing safe and reliable cruising thanks to its well-maintained, modern engine, saildrive, and sail system. The yacht is for sale by its second owner. Currently, the yacht is located in Kaş, Antalya, and viewings are by appointment only. Please schedule your visit at least three days in advance.
