Fauroux 50 unique, built in 2008 by the Fauroux shipyard, a true one-off combining performance, safety, and exceptional build quality. This yacht was designed with deliberately oversized rigging, ensuring maximum reliability in offshore sailing as well as in racing.

The sandwich infusion construction with glass/Airex, combined with a carbon mast and boom, gives the boat rigidity, lightness, and remarkable performance. The hull was completely repainted 2 years ago, and maintenance is followed with a rigorous annual preventive maintenance.

The sail plan is particularly comprehensive and performance-oriented: racing mainsail, two racing spinnakers (one very recent ~15 hours, one about 1 year old), code 0 and asymmetrical spinnaker. The cruising mainsail is to be expected, only due to the owner's lack of time.

The deck equipment is high-end: electric winch, other manual racing winches, carbon bowsprit, carbon gangway, carbon cockpit table, two large aft lockers, secure and ergonomic cockpit. The sunshade at anchor provides real comfort while cruising.

Navigation is ensured by modern electronics with B&G H5000 autopilot, a guarantee of precision and reliability. The standing rigging, anchoring (line revised 3 years ago), and the sealing of the forward portholes (redone this year) testify to the seriousness of the technical follow-up.
