Malö 46 Classic “Mathiba” (2008) – New to our collection
Super equipped – superbly maintained – ready for new world travels!
Step aboard Mathiba, a Scandinavian quality sailboat that immediately makes you want to set sail. Built in 2008 and truly taken care of down to the last detail. Generator, water maker, four (!) electric winches, double roller genoa, 140m2 Gennaker, washing machine… name it and it’s on board.
Perfectly maintained
Bankert Boating has lovingly kept the Mathiba in top condition for the past eight years. Every winter safely stored dry in our hall and every year preventive maintenance and beautiful upgrades.
Maintenance and upgrade topics from last winter:
Underwater hull stripped down to the gelcoat and completely rebuilt.
Completely new stainless steel rigging (from de Gruiter).
All skin fittings replaced with bronze.
Teak deck fully maintained, seams re-caulked and sanded.
Every year major engine maintenance, antifouling, and anodes replaced.
High-end navigation
Fully Raymarine top of the line: 2× 12” Axiom plotters, 4× I70 data displays, autopilot, dual VHF radio (indoor and wireless outdoor) and a new Quantum radar.
Design & comfort
The Malö 46 is known for its offshore capabilities and comfortable sailing characteristics. The deep center cockpit with targa arch offers safety and shelter. Inside, you will find warm Scandinavian craftsmanship: a spacious salon, practical galley, separate wet cell with shower, a double forward cabin with separate toilet/shower, and two generous cabins at the back. The large engine room makes maintenance easy and systems clear.
