Construction

RCD Status: The yacht conforms with the essential safety requirements of Directive 94/25EC or RCDII (2013/53/EU as appropriate (Recreational Craft Directive) and is categorised C – “inshore”.

 

Hull, Deck & Superstructure Construction:

• GRP hull construction, dark blue with cream water line, polished June 2025.
• Fully moulded cockpit in cream with teak laid floor and seating.
• Polyester deck with vacuum glued teak deck, Onward Trading Teak sealed October 2024.
• Cockpit coamings, toe rail and tiller all made of varnished mahogany, July 2025.

 

Keel & Rudder:

• T-keel in resin infused vinylester with 800kg lead bulb fastened by stainless steel bolts embedded in the resin.
• Anti-foul rubbed down and 3 x hard coats applied in dark blue, July 2025.
• Electric and manual system for raising keel - Warn electric winch serviced June 2025.
• Tiller steering - strengthened with carbon fibre + Forespar tiller extension, October 2024.

Machinery

Engine & Gearboxes:

• 1 x Yanmar 15HP YM15 single cylinder diesel, fully winterised 2024/commissioned July 2025.
• Electric panel.
• Soundproofed engine box.

 

Maintenance & Performance:

• Engine hours – approx. 75 hrs.
• Engine last serviced: fully overhauled (new belts/hoses/filters) October 2024.
• Cruising speed – approx. 6 knots @ 2,000 rpm.
• Maximum speed – approx. 8 knots @ 3,000 rpm.
