Description
Van de Stadt Stadtship 70 – performance, safety and comfort worldwide. This aluminium Van de Stadt Stadtship 70, built by KM Yachtbuilders in 2008 and designed by Van de Stadt Design, is a true bluewater sailing yacht with outstanding performance. Light, narrow and with a long waterline, a 2.90 m lead-ballasted bulb keel and a carbon mast with Park Avenue boom, she delivers speed, control and confidence at sea.
Her distinctive twin-cockpit layout features a dedicated working cockpit for efficient sailing and a well-protected cockpit under the doghouse for relaxed cruising. The deck is finished with new synthetic Ecodeck (installed 2018), combining a modern look with low maintenance.
Below deck, the refined mahogany interior accommodates eight guests in four comfortable staterooms, including a spacious owner’s suite with ensuite bathroom.
Sail inventory is up to date with a Elvström mainsail (2023) and a Elvström genoa (2024). Fully equipped for self-sufficient offshore cruising with a Perkins Sabre engine, generator, hydrogenerator, watermaker and comprehensive navigation systems. She is equipped with a central pneumatic system, widely used in commercial and offshore vessels for its reliability, redundancy and low fire risk. An airbag release system further enhances safety for offshore sailing. Red Rooster is an exceptional long-range sailing yacht for discerning sailors. Offered in co-operation with KM Yachtbuilders.
