Description
Sly 61 from 2009, one owner, brings into the world of sailing a radically new Maxi yacht designed by studio Lostuzzi. The Easy-Sailing is supported by choices such as the double rudder blade, the self-tacking jib, and the electric painted Leisure Furl 25.8 boom, with a German mainsheet running internally to the boom and the Lifting Keel from 2.30 m to 3.80 m, making this Maxi fast and powerful yet manageable with a reduced crew and the ability to take advantage of moorings with reduced draft that were previously impossible with a maxi. In 2023, significant refitting with a new mainsail and jib, replaced teak cockpit, and a new lifting keel system.
The main novelty consists of an original and innovative deck layout; the profile of the boat stands out for the elegant solution of the raised saloon, made more evident and enriched by the insertion of a large window in the coachroof, without interruption. A visually striking aspect, especially in the interiors, from where it will be possible to enjoy great brightness, as well as an excellent view of the outside.
The luxury details are the heart of the product. Alongside the highly technological standard features (generous sail plan, contained displacement, efficient appendages with great performance, and construction with extensive use of carbon), the Sly 61 possesses all the top-range comforts for an easy and enjoyable long-range cruise, even with a reduced crew.
Interiors
Many novelties also for the interior fittings, with a raised saloon that gives great importance to the living room and communal spaces, and a completely separate area dedicated to the kitchen. The owner's cabin and the 4 twin cabins for guests are spacious and have 4 bathrooms, for a cruise of great tranquility away from the shore. Air conditioning system in every cabin.
Exteriors
The maximum livability of every space is ensured by a deck plan that reconciles navigation times with relaxation: electrical equipment, cleanliness in maneuvers with under-deck leads, shaded areas thanks to the retractable electric awning, ample seating in the cockpit, and sunbathing areas. From a construction point of view, the Sly 61 is made from female molds in sandwich with fiberglass and carbon skins, PVC core, and epoxy resin.
A Yanmar 110 hp engine for agile and fast movement and a bow thruster for easy maneuvers, overhauled in 2023.
