2011 MACGREGOR 26M MOTOR SAILING SLOOP - ON TARILER - EASLY TRANSPORTABLE
The MacGregor 26M is a daggerboard equipped fractional sloop motorsailer.
Thanks to the relatively low weight, detachable, hinged mast with a system for single-handed raising, lowering and securing for transport, the lack of a fixed deep keel, tilt engine and rudders, the boat can be conveniently launched and transported by hitch equipped SUV. Hull weight empty weights 2,550 lbs. Ballast includes 300 lbs of fixed ballast plus up to an additional 1,150 lbs of water. Trailer weights about 530lbs.
Evinrude 60 HP outboard gives you the ability to outrun a change in the weather or return to port on time after a leisurely day under sail.
Under sail, the boat can make 5 KN and under power the 60 HP Evinrude E-TEC outboard will enable the boat to plane at over 15 KN, and with 24 gallons of fuel, it will do that for quite a distance.
At the pedestal wheel helm is the throttle/shift for the engine, keyed ignition, Raymarine GPS plotter, wind indicator and autopilot.
Down below are for and aft berths, a head with electric marine toilet, a dinette, sink and storage compartments, enough to sleep and provision for 2-6 sailors (two doubles and two singles).
The MacGregor 26M was produced from 2002 until 2013. I am the original owner. I ordered her directly from the factory in Costa Mesa. All the equipment is functional and works well on this boat. Please see a separate long list of rigging and electronic upgrades. She was well-maintained and cared for, stored covered during winters.
Accommodations
Cabin sleeps six (two doubles and two singles, enclosed RARITAN electric head with electric macerator pump. Matching seat cushions all in great shape.
