Description
"Cruzeiro Do Sul" is an well equipped and upgraded example of the Jeanneau 44DS. Unique 3C/2H layout with master center king aft and en-suite head with large shower. Forward is a bunk cabin to port and guest cabin forward with a head/ shower opposite the bunk cabin.
Featuring a partial Hard Chine hull and deep single elliptical rudder, the Jeanneau 44DS is designed for more upright sailing. Main & jib led aft to the dual helms makes for very easy single or double hand sailing.
The combination of a Philippe Briand designed hard chine hull with increased stability, tracking, and interior volume and an interior and deck design by Franck Darnet has yielded a boat that is not only a joy to sail, but exceptionally comfortable. All sheets are lead aft to the helm, easy to tack headsail and powerful furling main with german mainsheeting make sail handling very simple for a short-handed crew.
