Launched in 2014, the Hanse 505 Searenity is a sleek, modern cruiser-racer built for fast, comfortable offshore sailing. With a long waterline, powerful rig and low-profile coachroof, she delivers the look and performance of a much larger yacht while remaining easy to handle and cost-effective to own.

Design & Deck Layout

With her plumb bow, vertical transom and large hydraulic folding bathing platform, Searenity is both striking and practical, enhancing performance underway and comfort at anchor. A deep T-keel keeps the ballast low and provides a healthy righting moment, delivering reassuring stiffness and stability in a wide range of conditions.

Designed to be sailed short-handed or even solo if required, all sail control lines run cleanly from the mast base through concealed deck channels, re-emerging just ahead of the Lewmar 55 AST primary winches (electric on Searenity). This keeps the cockpit uncluttered, safe, and guest-friendly, while allowing efficient sail handling close to the helm.

Her sail wardrobe is particularly versatile, adapting easily to all wind conditions:

Interior & Accommodation

Below deck, the Hanse 505 is very comfortable. The saloon is spacious, exceptionally light and airy thanks to numerous hatches and opening ports, and comfortably seats up to eight around the large drop-down table. Headroom exceeds 2 meters throughout, adding to the sense of volume and refinement.

Searenity is the desirable three-cabin version, offering:
