Description

Just back from a Fall 2025 Cruise to the Bahamas.  Owners are ready to move on to new adventures.

Over the years, we've loved Maine Cat 41's for their open bridgedeck with hard top and full enclosure for great ventilation, excellent visibility and the ability to close it all up for weather.

MC 41's exhibit a good turn of speed and generally outsail the basic charter cats we've become accustomed to.

She's got twin diesel engines, Autopilot, Color GPS chartplotter, radar, air conditioner, VHF and  a watermaker. She has a bowsprit to run the Screecher Sail. She has New Calvert Mainsail with Lazy Jacks. Great ground tackle, excellent power system including solar panels, inverter, electric windlass and she's even got an electric winch, for easy and short handed sailing.

She points high when going to windward with her twin daggerboards down, and flies on a broad reach with boards up.

Her interior accommodations are excellent with the starboard hull as owner's suite with massive owners berth, and port hull has a well equipped galley with an equally large VIP berth. She has two marine heads plus crew berth.

If you are looking for a well equipped and easy to sail shallow draft vessel with a good turn of speed that will be perfect for warm weather sailing and can handle the cooler waters of Maine and beyond when the salon is enclosed, you owe it to yourself to check out our 2015 Maine Cat 41 here in sunny Florida.

Accommodations

With her Large Bridgedeck open cockpit, this is the center of action on the MC 41. Trampolines forward with catwalk on centerline for secure footing when working at the bow.

Generous seating aft to port and starboard, and dinette forward which converts to a queen berth for alfresco sleeping under the screened in salon, or within the confines of the isinglass full enclosure.  All cockpit bench seating doubles as storage space below.

Two "mate" seats, one to port and the other to starboard and large centrally located helm with large double seat and full controls/instrumentation.

Yachts twice this size cannot boast a cockpit and entertainment area of this size. Well appointed with overhead lights on dimmer switch and courtesy lights at the foot well throughout the cockpit.

To port is a well appointed galley with propane oven and stove, refrigerator and huge freezer. Outboard is a double sink with H/C pressure water. Tremendous storage throughout. Microwave oven included. Forward is large queen size berth, with new Mattress, full Lavac marine head with holding tank with intergral shower forward and additional private cabin with large single berth forward.

Starboard hull is the owner's suite and has large head with Lavac marine head and holding tank,  aft with walk-in separate full shower aft. Amidships is seating area, cabinet storage with large queen size owner's berth. Forward is Navigation area/desk with wood shelving. Fully forward is a private large, single berth which converts to an aft facing seat.
Total sleeping accommodations for 8.

The Maine Cat 41 is the only 41 foot production-built cruising catamaran in the world that provides outstanding sailing and motoring performance, huge payload capacity (7200 pounds) and a unique open bridgedeck design that transforms the entire bridgedeck area into a protected pilothouse. The unique open bridgedeck design is simply a better solution than the typical "floating condo" cat bridegdeck cabin arrangement, and provides superior visibility from the helm with exceptional ventilation throughout the main salon platform.

Headroom throughout; 6'8" minimum.

Additional information

In 2021 this 2015 Maine Cat 41 had new engines, new Mainsail, new saildrives, excellent sails, electric winch, new electric windlass, new standing and running rigging, new batteries, new mast installed.

In 2019 the vessel dragged ashore during a storm.  She suffered some damage and has been fully restored here in Florida in 2020.

Virtually no damage occured  to the vessel during the storm itself.  The forestay was hit which caused the mast to come down.  The impace damaged the fiberglass hard top.  Some additional damage occurred when she was put back into the water.  The sail drives and the rudders suffered damage.  A small amount of seawater entered one of the saildrive openings and water damaged both engines.

The vessel was made watertight and was towed to Florida where in 2020 she has been repaired and restored.  The yacht never sunk but water entered both hulls aft.

She has a new mast, new Yanmar Diesel engines, new saildrives, one new rudder and has been completely rewired.  Due to the construction method of Maine Cats, light and strong with no interior liner or headliner, she shows no effects of the storm damage she suffered.

Take a look at the photos and the details of this listing and see why this Maine Cat 41 can be a great boat for a great price for the discriminating catamaran buyer seeking high quality construction, and the exceptional sailing performance that MC 41's are well known for.
