Wraceboats GP26

This vessel is being offered on a lease-to-own basis, with final transfer of ownership to occur upon completion of the lease agreement, no earlier than December 16, 2026. A lease-to-own structure can significantly reduce upfront costs while allowing you to get out sailing right away, spreading your commitment over a longer period. It also gives you time to learn the boat, refine your program, and plan upgrades as you go, rather than funding everything on day one.

2015 Wraceboats GP26 PATRIOT VIII (hull #7) is an ORC-optimized Jim Donovan design that delivers big-boat performance in a compact, owner-friendly package. Recently campaigned by the veteran-owned US Patriot Sailing program, this GP26 is set up for competitive one-design or handicap racing with updated electronics, a faired racing bottom, and both primary and training sail inventories. Designed around the ORC rule, PATRIOT VIII is equally at home as a weeknight club racer, on the start line at ORC championships, or simply blasting around the bay as a fast, rewarding daysailor.

The boat is currently wet-slipped at Bert Jabin Yacht Yard in Annapolis with a fresh 2025 application of Black Widow bottom paint over a Beasley Marine–prepared bottom. She can live on her shipping cradle on the hard, in a slip, or on a mooring ball without compromising performance thanks to the race-ready antifouling. The GP26 can also be trailered to out-of-town regattas for a true traveling one-design/ORC program (trailer not included). A recent set of 2023 Quantum dacron training sails, plus a strong Quantum and Evolution race inventory, make PATRIOT VIII a turn-key, budget-friendly platform for the next owner.
