Description
Cum Laude is a family boat in perfect condition that has given us endless emotions over these five years.
Accommodations
Cum Laude is our family's boat that is now looking for a new vessel. Cum Laude was launched in 2017 and sold to us in 2020, during the height of the COVID period, when it was sold it had about 60 hours of navigation, practically new, with interiors still largely unused and items to unpack, such as even the mattresses. It underwent rigorous inspection and no defects were found. It was in perfect condition as it is now, in fact, the boat is stored for five to six months every year and has always been given to the same shipyard, Civitanova Yacht Service in Civitanova. Maintained from top to bottom, polished, and put back in the sea.
Mechanical equipment
The engine is a 75 hp, perfectly maintained every year, with oil and levels always under control and new impeller and filters every year. The cabins are equipped with air conditioning, heating, and dehumidification. The interior spaces are bright and very spacious. The faucets were replaced and upgraded to better and new ones in 2025, and the three bathrooms had their pumps replaced and new ones installed in 2024 because one had given problems, and given the low cost, all were replaced. All the batteries were replaced with new ones in 2025. The details of the maintenance will be provided by the construction site, as well as we are obviously available.
Deck and hull equipment
The sails are those of the original equipment, mainsail and jib, for simple navigation, and in 2022 the new North Sail sails were purchased for a cruising experience that is still enjoyable but more performance-oriented. Cum Laude is not used for races except for the social one. Last year it won the Civitanova Sebenico, which demonstrates the great capability of the boat to provide high-level experiences even in the racing-cruising sector. The Code Zero, also NS, and Gennaker can be treated separately and are not included in the price, equipped with a snuffer for the first and a sock for the second. The halyards are all made of Dyneema and replaced the original ones, with excellent holding and maximum safety. The bimini and spray hood were redone in 2022 and are in perfect condition, while this year we have redone the entire rainproof upholstery of the four sunbathing positions located above the cabin. The navigation system had a problem in 2020 and was completely renewed to ensure maximum safety, so everything was updated on both the right and left steering systems. Today it is perfect for both day and night navigation. The only instrument that has always provided incorrect data is the anchor windlass with the meter gauge, but it just needs to be calibrated as needed. To board and disembark from the boat, we have installed a very comfortable stainless steel step and a folding carbon gangway. The hydraulic swim platform is raised and lowered with the winch and is electric; there are two out of six (two main electric, two secondary, two keyboard). The tender is lightweight with an aluminum hull and a 4 hp engine purchased two years ago. I almost forgot, the propeller is the infamous Autoprop, a marvel; under sail, it's like not having one.
Additional equipment
I almost forgot... the barbecue in the bay in Croatia is worth the whole experience ;)
