2017 Xquisite X5 - Sea Larks
A rare opportunity to secure a privately operated and extensively cruised Xquisite X5, Sea Larks is a superb example of this award-winning luxury bluewater catamaran. Completed in 2017 and consistently maintained to a high standard, she presents as a genuine turnkey vessel ready for immediate passagemaking.
After departing Cape Town for Road Town BVI, she featured at the 2017 Annapolis Boat Show before cruising extensively through the Bahamas, the US eastern seaboard and the Caribbean. In February 2020 she transited the Panama Canal and from 2020 to 2025 undertook multiple seasons sailing between California and Mexico. In March 2025 she sailed to French Polynesia and now lies in Papeete, Tahiti, antifouled June 2025 and prepared for her next voyage.
Twin Yanmar 4JH80 engines deliver reliable performance and were serviced in June 2025. A new SD60 saildrive was fitted to starboard in June 2025 and MaxProp three blade feathering propellers were installed in June 2024. Her energy system supports serious offshore independence with a Mastervolt LiFePO4 lithium house bank totalling 1,080Ah, Mastervolt inverter and charging systems, 2,400W of solar with three controllers and a Fisher Panda 12kW generator. A Cruise RO 40 Gal/Hr watermaker further enhances autonomy.
Navigation is centred on a Garmin 7616xsv suite with radar, autopilot, wind instruments and forward looking sonar, supported by ICOM SSB and Iridium GO! satellite communications. Her sail wardrobe includes a North Sails 100m² mainsail fitted October 2024, self tacking headsail and 83m² screecher, managed by Harken furlers and electric winches.
Accommodation is generous with three king cabins, three electric heads and excellent headroom. The portside galley features Bosch appliances, Vitrifrigo refrigeration, dishwasher and practical storage throughout. Five reverse cycle air conditioning units provide comfort in varied climates.
