Builder's description
This boat is the perfect compromise between the iconic 450 model and the 52. It offers an attractive option for sailors looking for a large "marine and modern" owner boat. With its new visual identity, rigging, and hull design, it offers enhanced performance, constituting a unique brand signature. Indeed, the elegance of the 50's is appealing with the beveled shape of its hulls, its generous volumes, and its panoramic views more than ever highlighted. With unparalleled layout possibilities, this new model is available in three, four, or even... six cabins!
EXTERIOR: COMFORTABLE AND FUNCTIONAL
A flybridge with two secure accesses and a helm station offers perfect visibility. And behind the helm station, a vast modular relaxation area conceals a storage space large enough to store all the cushions.
A large open cockpit facing the sea, wide aft skirts allowing easy access to the boat, and a large modular dining area with removable benches to accommodate both small and large groups.
A second cockpit to enjoy the foredeck even more with a dual function: sitting position or sun lounger, flush with the forward trampoline.
Numerous storage spaces under most of the cockpit and flybridge seats.
INTERIOR: GENEROUS VOLUMES AND BRIGHTNESS
The spacious layout reveals an innovative architecture where every detail has been designed to create a warm and friendly atmosphere. The design allows everyone to choose the layout they want, with three, four, five, or even six cabins!
An innovative concept of a saloon on two levels, offering two distinct but communicating spaces: a large kitchen open to the cockpit on one side, and a slightly elevated lounge for better panoramic views, which can easily be transformed into a dining room if necessary.
An innovative interior design, with a new wood finish, elegant and elaborate, to be customized for the owner.
Remarkable communication between the interior and exterior: the central panoramic windscreen is retractable, which is ideal for ventilating the lounge and cockpit. This allows interaction with the fore area.
Exceptional natural light in the rear cabins, equipped with panoramic glazing and large hull portholes in the showers and bathrooms.
Volume and comfort in the hulls with special attention to storage: cabins with Island beds at the front and rear, large storage volumes, wardrobes, and open bookshelves.
Large freshwater and black water tanks located under the floors, thus offering considerable space. An optional grey water tank is available to meet environmental standards.
NEW GENERATION RIGGING: PERFORMANCE AND SIMPLICITY
The choice to position the mast foot further back, directly stemming from VPLP's experience in competitive sailing, gives this catamaran multiple advantages: A self-tacking jib for simplified maneuvers.
A large fore triangle for a greater choice of downwind sails: a guarantee of performance,
A shorter boom for easier maneuvers.
A high-aspect ratio mainsail, allowing for better airflow capture in the upper parts of the sail for optimized performance.
The recentering of masses, thanks to the rear positioning of the rigging, significantly reduces the boat's pitching.
