A rare secondhand Outremer 4X available immediately for inspection, survey & sea-trial.. This 4X is the preferred Owner’s version – 3 cabin layout.
Probably the most famous catamaran of this generation, the OUTREMER 4X is the very first model of the Outremer brand with the “Racing” name which has been elected “European Yacht of the Year” in January 2017 by eleven European magazines in the Multihull category.
The enhanced version of the Outremer 45 sees its performance increased once more, preserving comfort, with the same volume and high level of finish, with the optimized structure in order to assure the best weight/strength ratio. Main bulkheads, dagger-boards, rotating carbon mast, tillers and bucket seats are all constructed in carbon fiber. This reduction in weight and an increase in sail area add even more speed and comfort to the Outremer 4X.
The tiller system is designed for owners wishing the ultimate sensation when sailing with very good rudder feedback. Outremer 4X is ideal to sail around the world in safety!

The carefully designed deck layout is maximized to make maneuvers easy: this racer handles just like a cruising catamaran, and is optimized for shorthanded sailing.
The ergonomic cockpit, wide and well protected, allows skipper and crew to enjoy this space in comfort. With an additional 15% sail area and a forestay sail, the Outremer 4X is at the same time powerful in light air conditions and reassuring in a stronger breeze.
Delivered in July 2018 for the original owner, this 4X for the past 3 years been under the top-shelf care of the second owner and based in southern California. Today it shows in “like-new” condition inside and out. You will not be disappointed during your personal inspection.
