Description
This exceptionally well-maintained 2022 Beneteau Oceanis 38.1 offers a well-balanced combination of cruising comfort and proven performance. She's configured with the popular two-cabin, one-head layout and includes several desirable upgrades: downwind sailing package, additional freshwater tank, and a low-hour 40HP Yanmar engine that is under warranty through 2027.
The interior layout features an L-shaped galley and a separate shower compartment, making the space well suited for extended stays aboard. Additional USB charging ports were installed during commissioning, and the full-surround Iverson Marine canvas enclosure provides excellent weather protection—particularly well suited to the variable conditions of Puget Sound and the Canadian Gulf Islands. The bottom and entire hull were repainted last summer, reflecting consistent and attentive maintenance.

Accommodations
"Clewless" is a beautiful 2 cabin, 1 head layout with walnut interior, L-shaped aft port galley, and head w/ separate shower room. Forward is a large, open cabin with a centerline berth with 6’5” headroom. There are large hull ports and opening overhead hatch, abundant storage with both a large drawer, and hanging lockers.
The main salon has a centerline drop leaf table with long settees both to port and to starboard. The nav table sits at the aft end of the starboard settee and the galley sits aft of the port side settee.
The aft cabin has an extra large bed, 6’1” headroom and a hanging locker.

EXTERIOR DESIGN The Oceanis 38.1’s chined hull offers particularly surprising cruising comfort. Good and taut to aft and low on the water, the rigidity under sail of this cruiser takes her further and faster, with exceptional stability. It is a real joy to have two helm stations, a mainsail arch and a huge swim platform on a sailing yacht this size. INTERIOR DESIGN For the Italian design team, the challenge was to multiply the living spaces in the saloon and offer greater privacy in the owner cabin, while maintaining the visual perspective that her opening to the bow offered in previous versions. The new L-shaped galley makes a facing seat saloon arrangement possible. The space has been well optimized to allow eight people to sit around the table.
