Description
OUTREMER 51 TEÏS – 2023 (delivered in April 2023)
No. 99 out of 101 – EU VAT paid – Available in Polynesia (Raiatea / Papeete) – €1,190,000
Offered by the official Outremer brokerage team – collaborators of the Grand Large Yachting group, dedicated to supporting Outremer owners and future owners.
For over forty years, Outremer Yachting has charted a demanding course resolutely aimed at the open sea. Founded in La Grande-Motte in 1984, the yard designs catamarans made to sail before they charm, to cross oceans before they adorn marinas. Each model embodies a clear vision: to prioritize freedom, reliability, and performance, optimizing every line, every detail, and every kilogram, in the service of uncompromising long-distance cruising.
Outremer yachts are not conceived as mere products, but as long-distance travel companions. They are chosen by discerning sailors, for whom a boat must above all inspire confidence, connect continents, and offer the discreet luxury of time spent at sea.
It is in this spirit that the Outremer 51 was born.
A Barreau / Neuman architecture, heir to a long evolution
The Outremer 51 is the result of the work of architects Barreau / Neuman, major figures in multihull naval architecture, whose signature can be found on numerous offshore catamarans renowned for their balance, safety, and seakeeping qualities.
This collaboration found its first major expression with the Outremer 49, launched in 2010, the first model developed under the Grand Large Yachting era. This boat marked an important turning point in the yard's history, laying the foundations for a new generation: optimized structure, better-integrated systems, rethought volumes, and a resolutely modern long-distance cruising approach.
With over a decade of feedback from owners sailing on all the seas of the globe, this concept then gave birth to the Outremer 51.
With nearly a hundred units delivered, this model is now one of the most accomplished ever produced by the yard. Every evolution, every adjustment, every technical improvement has been guided by real use, by the miles traveled, and by the demands of committed sailors.
The Outremer 51 thus offers a rare balance: fine and efficient hulls, an ergonomic deck plan, a particularly protected cockpit – a true secure watch station while sailing – and generous interior volumes without ever compromising performance.
Fast to go far.
Powerful to face the open sea.
Reassuring to sail with complete confidence.
The perfect balance between performance and control.
TEÏS holds a special place in the history of the model.
It is the number 99 out of the 101 Outremer 51 ever delivered, making this catamaran one of the very last representatives of this iconic series.
Delivered in April 2023 in La Grande-Motte, TEÏS belongs to the latest evolution of the model, the so-called 51 V2 version, which incorporates all the improvements developed over the years: system optimization, increased reliability, refined ergonomics, improved comfort, and details derived from nearly a hundred boats in service around the world.
Shortly after its delivery, TEÏS undertook what it was designed for: long-distance sailing, from the Mediterranean to the Pacific, concretely demonstrating its balance, solidity, and seakeeping qualities.
Today, TEÏS is offered for sale with European VAT paid, and is visible in French Polynesia, in Raiatea or Papeete.
Presented in three-cabin owner version, it offers an ideal configuration for long-distance cruising: a spacious owner suite, two comfortable guest cabins, and bright, airy living spaces perfectly suited for life on board over time.
TEÏS has been specified with a clear logic: to allow for sailing far, long, and serenely.
Its sail plan, complemented by a Code 0 on a furler and a staysail with one reef, offers great versatility in all conditions. Maneuvers are facilitated by three electric winches, making the boat perfectly suited for sailing with a reduced crew.
The engine shows about 1,200 hours, consistent with a controlled offshore sailing program.
The navigation electronics rely on a complete B&G system, enhanced by a SEA.AI camera, providing valuable assistance for watchkeeping, especially at night or in busy areas.
Energy autonomy is ensured by a lithium battery bank powered by 1,300 W of solar panels, allowing for long stays at anchor without constraints. A Dessalator watermaker guarantees independence in fresh water.
At anchor, safety is not overlooked with 80 meters of chain and a 30 kg Spade anchor, while a large canopy protects the cockpit and transforms this space into a true outdoor lounge, perfectly suited for tropical climates.
On board TEÏS, nothing is superfluous, nothing is left to chance. Every piece of equipment responds to a logic of reliability, ease of use, and discreet comfort, in the service of travel.
Choosing an Outremer is rarely an impulsive act.
It is often the culmination of a long-matured project: that of a world tour, a multi-year interlude, a new way of inhabiting time and space. It is the choice of women and men who have built demanding paths on land, and who now wish to invest elsewhere: in the horizon, in the silence of the open sea, in sharing simple but rare moments.
TEÏS is precisely this type of boat.
Recent, rare, proven in offshore sailing and perfectly equipped, it is ready to welcome a new project, new routes, new stories made of night watches, still lagoons, and crossings that bring as close as they distance.
TEÏS is offered by the official Outremer brokerage team, composed of collaborators from the Grand Large Yachting group, whose mission is to provide the best possible experience to current and future owners of the brand.
Buying an Outremer through us means benefiting from direct access to the complete history of the boat, its original configuration, as well as in-depth technical expertise of the model and its evolutions.

TEÏS is ready.
Ready to return to the sea.
Ready to open new horizons.
Ready to become the setting for a new chapter.
One of the very last Outremer 51 ever delivered.
One of the most accomplished.
Available soon in Polynesia.
A design by Barreau / Neuman
The Outremer 51 was designed by Barreau / Neuman, renowned naval architects whose work has shaped many high-performance multihulls and advanced cruising yachts.
Their signature is evident in the yacht’s fine hulls, controlled displacement and balanced sail plan. The result is a catamaran that remains lively and precise at the helm, predictable in demanding conditions, and deeply reassuring when miles accumulate and the nearest coastline fades behind the wake.
Built for distance, designed for autonomy
TEIS has been equipped with the demands of long passages and remote cruising in mind.
Her sail inventory is powerful and versatile, supported by three electric winches that make manoeuvres easy and controlled, even with a small crew. Navigation relies on a complete B&G electronics suite, complemented by a SEA.AI camera system, adding an extra layer of safety during night sailing or in high-traffic areas.
Energy autonomy is ensured by lithium batteries supplied by 1,300 watts of solar panels, allowing extended stays at anchor without sacrificing onboard comfort. A Dessalator watermaker provides fresh water wherever the route may lead.
At anchor, the same attention to detail is found, with 80 metres of chain, a 30-kilogram Spade anchor and a large cockpit canopy creating a protected, shaded living space, perfectly suited to tropical latitudes and quiet evenings at the end of the day’s sail.
Nothing aboard TEIS is excessive, and nothing is missing. Everything serves a single purpose: to make long distances simple, daily life pleasant, and sailing deeply enjoyable.
