CONSTRUCTION

• Infusion construction.
• Monolithic glass fabric (live parts of the hull) and closed-cell PVC foam sandwich (dead parts of the hull and deck).
• First layers in vinylester resin, then isophthalic polyester resin.
• Omega-shaped polyethylene foam and plywood framing structure, laminated to the hull, like all the woodwork (partitions, furniture, lockers…). This system guarantees perfect rigidity of the whole and allows optimal distribution of stresses. The compression forces of the mast/running rigging are supported by a mast support structure and by bolted chainplates for the rigging.
• Deck and bulkheads glued and laminated together and to the hull (4 safety bulkheads with isolation valves).
• Walkways, fore and aft decks, cockpit: teak deck finish, molded into the deck.
