The Dufour shipyard continues to develop and produce boats with a perfect balance between comfort, performance, and timeless design. The strategy of Dufour Yachts, which has been producing boats for nearly 60 years, is to expand its product portfolio. The series has now been enriched with a new 46-foot boat featuring solutions, details, and technology that are unique for its size. The Dufour 470, with a width of 4.74 meters and a hard chine, is an incredible 5 boat, with larger volume 0-footers from just a few years ago.

The Dufour 470 is an excellent sailing boat that guarantees both high-level performance on the regatta course as well as absolute comfort, in harmony with the latest sailing boat models from Dufour:

3 DIFFERENT VERSIONS

The Dufour 470 can, like the Dufour 530, be ordered in three different versions; Easy version, Ocean version, and Performance version for those who wish to win the prestigious regatta trophies.


FUNCTIONAL COCKPIT

There are different preferences for how the winches should be placed in the cockpit aboard a sailing boat, and the trend is to lead lines back to the helmsman, but this can passive the crew and make it cramped around the wheel when several are to contribute. Aboard the Dufour 470, it is (like the Dufour 530) also possible to choose where the lines should be trimmed. In the Easy version, the sails are trimmed from the winches on the cockpit coaming in front of the wheels. In the Ocean and Performance versions, the Dufour 470 is delivered with a total of six winches - two on the cabin roof, two on the cockpit coaming, and two at the steering positions - which means you have full flexibility for where you want to trim the sails.

Unique to the cockpit aboard the Dufour 470 is also the solution for passage from the cockpit to the side decks, which is between the steering pedestals and cockpit benches. This is a construction and a solution that you can find aboard the Dufour 470 and Dufour 530.

Aft in the cockpit, the Dufour 470 has a large sunbed (if desired, the sunbed can be omitted). Under the sunbed, there is a huge storage/utility room as well as access to the technical room.

The Dufour 470 is also delivered, like all other Dufour models, with a large outdoor galley aft with a large grill, hot/cold sink, and workbench. Our customers greatly appreciate this unique outdoor galley solution, as it is much more pleasant to stand outside in the sun and prepare dinner than to prepare dinner in the galley below deck on nice weather days.


4 LAYOUT / INTERIOR OPTIONS

The Dufour 470, which was conceived after an intense collaboration between Italian boat designer Umberto Felci and Dufour Yachts' own design and development team, appears as the ultimate result of collaboration between two of the world's leading design teams. The Dufour 470 is delivered with no less than four different layout/interior options, where you can choose to order the boat with either three, four, or five double cabins. The Dufour 470 is also available with a skipper cabin (with its own entrance on the foredeck) with a single bed, toilet, and sink. In the owner's cabin forward, the boat has a large window at the front of the superstructure that provides a good view forward.

The Dufour 470 can be ordered with both a forward galley or a longitudinal galley on the starboard side, as well as with one salon or two salons. The boat has many large windows in both the hull and deck, which provide plenty of natural light and good views.

The Dufour 470 can be ordered in the following four different layouts/interior layouts;

• Layout 1 (standard layout) --> 3 double cabins, 2 bathrooms with toilet and shower, 1 laundry room with shower, forward galley
• Layout 2 --> 4 double cabins, 2 bathrooms with toilet and shower, 1 laundry room with shower, longitudinal galley starboard side
• Layout 3 --> 5 double cabins, 3 bathrooms with toilet and shower, longitudinal galley starboard side
• Layout 4 --> 4 double cabins, 4 bathrooms with toilet and shower, longitudinal galley starboard side

The Dufour 470 can also be ordered with a skipper cabin (with its own entrance on the foredeck) with a single bed, toilet, and sink (the skipper cabin is shown in the layouts in this advertisement).

The price in this advertisement applies to the Dufour 470 in Easy version including VAT. Transport, rigging, and launching are not included in this price (charged separately). The advertised price is based on an exchange rate of 1150.
