Description
KASTER – ERYD 40 xsm, new model of the ERYD range, has been designed in accordance with IRC and ORC regulations.
The hull has been carefully studied, using the most advanced VPP and CFD (computational fluid dynamics) methods,
to ensure balanced and high-performance behavior, both in windward/leeward races and in coastal ones.
Racing version, with a tiller and double rudders, easily convertible to performance cruiser version. The interiors offer a spacious dinette and six berths, with a walkthrough kitchen and a bathroom to starboard.
The construction, very well done, uses unidirectional and bi-axial fiberglass fabrics in sandwich, with corecell and epoxy resin. The mast, boom, and bowsprit are made of carbon. The particular design gives the whole a superior structural rigidity and allows for weight reduction, making it a winning boat in any wind condition.
Complete set of sails, with only one season used.
Trade-ins with performance boats are considered.
