Molokoi is Excess 11 in 4-cabin version with Pulse Line performance rig. Launched in December 2023 and delivered to Tahiti by our team in early 2024 for her owners, a young family taking a sabbatical year across Polynesia. She will be available for new adventures in July 2025 in Tahiti, and can be financed with as little as 53 000 euros downpayment by taking over the existing leasing!
This is a catamaran that we know perfectly well, whose maintenance is regularly monitored by our technical team, who will be able to support future owners during the handover and throughout their cruise.
With its 4 cabins and 2 bathrooms, the Excess 11 is the star of catamarans for sabbatical years. It offers real sensations under sail, is easy to handle and maintain, and provides all the space needed for a young family, a couple or a group of friends. The interior volumes are unprecedented in this size of catamaran, and the numerous storage spaces are sufficient for independent living on board. Its marine qualities and sturdiness are well proven, both structurally and in terms of the all-Harken fittings.
Molokoi benefits from the Pulse line rig, which enables it to sail fast in light airs. When surfing, the hulls are easy to handle and deliver exhilarating acceleration, while upwind, the volume of the forward hulls and good weight distribution limit pitching and enable the boat to have very good upwind performance.
She features pro-radial Dacron performance sails, a code-zero furler, a 105-liter/hour watermaker, full Garmin electronic instrumentation with 2 7-inch plotters, VHF AIS, Iridium Go. It is equipped with 840 Ah of batteries and 1,125 Watts of solar panels.
Comfort features include a washing machine, electric toilet, 600-liter water tank, extra storage space in the galley, fridge and freezer, netting around the boat for children and canvas fastenings for the aft skirts, cooking equipment for a round-the-world family, etc.
Safety equipment is up to date and complete, maintenance is carried out regularly, sails and rigging are in perfect condition, aesthetics are excellent, engines have less than 500 hours…
