A classic lined sailing sloop due to its clinker appearance, gaff rigging, and bowsprit. Above water, it is derived from a 150-year-old English model. However, the underwater hull is smooth and has been redesigned according to the latest insights.
The sailing characteristics are surprising due to its slender shape and round bilge. The Damarin 19 sails dry and moves comfortably on waves. The centerboard contributes to good upwind performance. Since it is also unsinkable, it does not shy away from larger waters.
A handy boat due to its aluminum round timber. In combination with the optional easy mast lift system, the mast can be lowered and raised in a matter of seconds. The standard roller genoa has a flexible plastic profile so that it cannot kink. The air draft is less than 7 meters.
Adventurous sailing holidays are within reach with the Damarin 19. With the cockpit cover up, the front space can be closed off dry. An optional diesel or electric motor takes over when the wind drops. Since the boat is easy to trailer, other countries are also within sight.
The comfortable interior offers a sleeping place by filling the space between the centerboard case and benches. There are 8 separate storage spaces available, and the console is standard equipped with a 35-liter cooler.
