Thanks to the spacious cockpit, full control from the helm, and the self-tacking jib, all maneuvers can be done with the greatest ease. The great advantage of the sailing yacht is that, in addition to good sailing characteristics, a generous living space below deck is offered. In the aft cabin, there is a spacious transverse bed with a minimum length of 2.00 meters. Furthermore, the below deck has a headroom of over 1.90 meters, plenty of storage space, and natural light. The standard draft is 1.85 meters, and a short keel of 1.37 meters is among the possibilities. Of course, the Hanse 315 can also be sailed single-handedly with the self-tacking jib on a traveler, and all halyards and sheets are led to the helmsman/woman. Other: HANSE 315 E-MOTION The Hanse 315 e-motion rudder drive, the new revolutionary way of propulsion. The Hanse 315 e-motion rudder drive has been developed in collaboration with our partners from Jefa and Torqeedo. The sailing yacht has an electric motor, which not only replaces the diesel engine but also the entire saildrive. The 4 kW electric motor and the folding propeller are integrated into the rudder stock. The advantage of this system is the significantly improved maneuverability, emission-free, and virtually silent propulsion. The integrated motor in the rudder blade propels in the respective direction of the rudder. With the larger rudder deflection of a total of 100 degrees, the Hanse 315 e-motion can turn on its own axis from a standstill in both forward and reverse. When docking and departing parallel to the dock, the yacht can be maneuvered precisely from a standstill, and the system works particularly well in strong winds and narrow harbors. More advantages of the new Hanse 315 e-motion rudder drive are: 100 kg less weight No opening in the hull for the saildrive, less resistance while sailing No noise No diesel smell Low maintenance (simple system, fewer moving parts) The system consists of two to four lithium-ion batteries, which can propel the yacht on calm water at 4.5 knots for up to 30 nautical miles.
