Slicing effortlessly through the waves, the Rapido 40 Racer is a high-octane expression of Rapido’s performance DNA. At just 4,500 kg (excluding crew), with an imposing 19.5m mast (2 m taller than the cruising version), she bridges the gap between pure race machine and accessible multihull. Built as an all-carbon 12m trimaran, she offers top-tier coastal and ocean racing capability with only 4–5 crew. Her folding floats allow marina, shipping, and hard-stand logistics at monohull-level costs — eliminating many of the barriers that often deter multihull racers.
Under the skin, she boasts a prepreg-carbon, spreaderless rig, North Sails 3Di race package, foiling-capable C daggerboards, and a novel slide up/down T-foil rudder — all crafted for precision at speed. The low-profile coach roof, ultra-light finishes, and paint-over-gelcoat strategy are laser-focused on weight saving. CE Category A certification means she’s not just built to sprint — she’s built to compete offshore.
