YYachts: A GERMAN SHIPYARD FOR LUXURY CARBON SAILING YACHTS
The latest Y8 is a perfect blend of cruising and racing yacht. YYachts collaborated with Surge Projects to develop a fast yet safe 80-foot all-carbon luxury yacht that is suitable for both family holidays and competitive racing. With its stunning design - and high-tech carbon hull that can be painted in any colour you wish - the Y8 has real race-winning potential, can lead the field at regattas in the Mediterranean or Caribbean, but is still very roomy below decks.
Crafted to enjoy: Inspired by the next-generation IMOCA racers, the Y8 YT was designed with a wider stern and thus more volume. Combined with different technical installati- ons, this opened up completely new possibilities for the interior design. The interior was developed by the YYachts Design Team, while responsibility for construction lies with the ISS Design and Surge Projects studio, the latter a winner of the World Superyacht Design Awards.
With its modular construction, the layout can be adapted to the owner‘s wishes. The master suite, for example, can be installed in either the stern or the bow. The number of guest cabins is also variable - up to five are possible.

Thanks to its state-of-the-art technology, the Y8 can be easily handled even by a couple or very small crew. The Y8 is one of the most customisable yachts in its class, encompassing speed, design, comfort and ease of use.
