The Hallberg-Rassy 50 follows the great success of the models 57, 44, 40C, and 340. The new 50 is designed for effortless sailing and great comfort, with ample storage space. The Hallberg-Rassy 50 pushes the limits of what is possible in a 50-foot boat while staying true to the classic fundamentals of Hallberg-Rassy.

Traditionally, we tend to compare boats by their overall length. But much more relevant is the waterline length. The new HR 50 has a waterline that is up to 50 cm longer than that of the previous Hallberg-Rassy 55. This longer waterline provides better sailing performance, with longer daily passages and, at the same time, greater interior volume, comfort, and storage space below deck. The beam is 33 cm wider at its widest point and 1.08 m wider than that of the HR 55 at the stern. This further increases the interior volume and storage space.
