Hull & Deck
• Composite hull construction using biaxial and unidirectional E-glass, foam core, and ISO NPG gelcoat and vinylester resin on the outer hull layer to prevent osmotic gelcoat blisters.
• Composite deck construction using biaxial and unidirectional E-glass and foam core with high density foam core inserts and additional reinforcements in way of highly loaded hardware and components.
• “SCRIMP” resin infusion molding process for optimum laminate strength and light weight with 60+% glass content in structural skins.
• Structural engineering and construction to exceed ISO 12215 requirements for Category A Offshore.
• White gelcoat hull finish with double boot stripe.
• Off-white gelcoat deck finish. Optional two-tone deck (contrasting non-skid color).
• Hull-to-deck joint is bonded with a methacrylate structural adhesive.
• Transverse/longitudinal grids and mast step are infusion molded.
• Infusion molded, main bulkhead.
• All intermediate bulkheads are glassed to the hull and deck for stiffness.

• Low VCG keel (7.5’) comprised of a cast iron fin and lead bulb for optimum stability and performance. Keel is faired to template, then bonded and bolted to the hull structure with oversized stainless bolts and counterplates. Option for 6.6’ shoal draft keel.
• Balanced, composite rudder constructed with biaxial and unidirectional glass and high resistance S/S stock, turning on self-aligning bearings.
Propulsion
• Volvo D2 75 HP Saildrive diesel engine, 115 AH alternator, double diode, fresh water-cooling with heat exchanger.
• Volvo engine controls & fuel gauge recessed in cockpit, including rev. counter, hour meter and alarms for oil pressure, low voltage and water temperature.
• 50 gallon fuel tank.
• Sound insulated engine compartment, with air blower and ventilation ducts to the transom.
• Three-blade, low drag Gori folding prop.
Spars & Rigging
• Tapered, fractional carbon fiber mast with two sets of aft swept spreaders, tack reef hardware, boom and boom vang gooseneck fittings, masthead crane with backstay termination, internal side shroud terminations, headstay attachment hardware, halyard sheaves and a watertight dam installed inside the mast tube with a drain hole located just above deck level. Pre-molded mast wedge system, and adjustable mast step.
